Assessment Pathways

We offer a range of assessments at Phoenix to identify any issues that may be impacting on a child’s emotional well-being and therefore, their ability to engage
in education.

All children who attend Phoenix are offered cognitive screeners to assess cognitive functions, such as memory problems, so that our curriculum can be tailored to meet their individual needs.
We also offer a range of clinical assessments, including baseline and end of placement assessments, psychometric assessments and direct observations to identify the child’s strengths, difficulties and overall emotional well-being.

SNAP

SNAP-SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties), SNAP-B (Behaviour) and SNAP Maths are online assessments designed to pinpoint specific learning and behavioural difficulties which, unidentified, may limit a pupil’s potential to learn.

Quickly screen children to identify those who may have dyslexia
